MORNING FOG    TET 64707 {[(sdlg x Tet LBB) x Heartbeat of Heaven] x Desire of Nations}, 4.75” (range of 5”early in the season and when plenty of water and when less recurved to 4” late in season and when drought), 24”, 4-way branching (some years 5-way average; range of 2-6 way) with consistent scapes that have 2 laterals plus V, 25 buds (with range of 15-26), 90% dormant and 10% semi-evergreen in GH so registered as Sev but probably all Dor outside, MLa (usually starts in MN in early Aug and blooms through early Sept), Re (and some instant rebloom in MN some years), fr. Lavender cranberry grape with large lavender eye; lavender plus ivory gold edge; green throat. Difficult to capture the color on camera, so the website shows several examples. Perfect flowers; beautiful clump covered in blooms every day week after week. Tough as nails; grown on slope north of greenhouse where there is less water and snow cover. Strong grower and rapid increaser with good foliage. I have not used it in breeding since it has always been an outside plant (until spring 2012, when it bloomed after I had finished my hybridizing season). This plant does not grow well in the greenhouse because it is mostly dormant, so all of the plants have been lined out outside – which means it will not be available until some time in later May. I will pay for the extra shipping if it means your order needs to be shipped in 2 pieces.
